Victorian Bushfire Fundraiser

Residents and staff of Live Life Villages worked together with village suppliers, offering items for raffles and a silent auction, during the fundraising luncheon held at Brookland Village and a traditional  “cuppa and cake” morning tea held at Samford Grove for those affected by this tragedy. 

Live Life Villages matched “dollar for dollar” funds raised from both events.  With donations received, a total of over $8000 was raised for the Victorian Bushfire Appeal.  While retirees are affected by their own superannuation issues and uncertainties in the present global economy, many were still keen to support such a worthwhile cause.
