AUTUMN COLOURS This beautiful Autumn weather has turned the Brookland gardens into a colourful display for all to enjoy, residents are taking great delight in competing for the best display on our Reception desk. Upcoming eventsResidents of Brookland are excited about their inaugral Trivia night this Wednesday, they will be enjoying a light supper and complimentary glass of wine whilst testing their brain power against each other. There will be prizes for the winner. |

March 2012BROOKLAND GREEN FOR ST PATIt is hard to believe that we are already in March, until we see the Community Centre turn green for a day, then we know that St Patrick’s Day has arrived. Brookland welcomed Shane our new chef this month and he certainly did not let us down. Beef & Guinness pies were the popular choice, followed by chocolate cake with peppermint green icing. What a treat!

WELCOME TO BROOKLAND’S NEW CHEF Brookland Village welcomes Shane to the Live Life family. Shane is a fully qualified chef through his past employment catered up to 400 at one time. Residents have been enjoying Shane’s culinary skills this past week with exceptional reviews. . Brookland has a fully equipped kitchen with all meals prepared on the premises. Our dining room caters for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. CENTACARE MORNING TEA SEMINAR February 4, 2012
Centacare held their “No Problem Cleaning” seminar at Brookland this week. Representatives from local and government care associations attended to learn more about a new service provided by Centacare where help is available to assist in overwhelming clean up tasks. After the session was complete all were welcomed to stay for morning tea. Brookland Village has function facilities available to the public and our in house kitchen allows us to be able to cater for any occasion. Phone for a tour of our facilities on 3345 9143. |
NEW MEMBER OF OVER 90’S CLUB January 27, 2012
The newest member of our Over 90s club was presented with his certificate by Elizabeth (who has taken on the role of ensuring that all members of this exclusive club are recognised on this achievement). George celebrates his 90th birthday on Australia Day. Our Over 90’s club have their special Morning Tea every year, which they all look forward to. We wish George and all our Residents a wonderful Australia Day. |
