Pet Friendly Samford GroveWith winter evenings drawing in on us, our residents have brought forward their daily get-together in the Samford Grove Off Leash Dog Park. Usually we meet around 4pm for a chat and to let the puppies run amok but now Winter is upon us we have decided to bring this forward to 3pm. This daily event is a great opportunity for residents with dogs and residents without dogs to get-together for a chat and a laugh at the "twilight" part of the day.
Visitors from the local community are also made very welcome. |

CRAFT and CARD GROUP Our Village has been the hub of activity this week with our Craft and Card group expanding due to further interest from the local community. Our Mothers Day CAMEO morning tea held on Friday May 3 was very elegant, a scrumptuous array of home baking, red roses and a special gift for each of the girls attending - a big thank you to our Social Committee for their generosity and thoughtfulness. SAMFORD GROVE HOSTS AUST HEARING CLINIC  February 3, 2012
On last Friday, at our February CAMEO (Come & Meet Each Other) morning tea we hosted Melanie, from the Australian Hearing Clinic who conducted free hearing tests for our residents and friends. An easy stroll to our Community Centre from our residents’ villas, an enjoyable morning tea catching up with friends and neighbours with the added bonus of taking up the opportunity of this great add-on annual service – all within our Village. BUSY RESIDENTS January 21, 2012
 With residents returning from their Festive season holidays – activities within the Village are being well attended.
Our weekly fresh food market resumed this week and received an overwhelming response from our residents. A marvellous way to purchase local produce and catch up with neighbours, friends and visitors – a typical of a “greek plaka” where the local meeting place is of paramount importance to the locals. Drop in and see for yourself – Wednesdays weekly 1:30pm – 3:30pm. |
