Live Life Lodges (located within our Village Communities at Brookland, Samford Grove & Maleny Grove), are within easy access of shops, clubs, public transport, major hospitals and medical specialists offering a short term supported accommodation for Seniors in a homely environment.

During your stay you will have:
Your Own Room
Private furnished room with a double bed, bedside table, comfortable recliner lift chair, 2 dining chairs, dining table, TV, small refrigerator, electric jug and storage space.
Each room has its own ensuite facilities.
A tea and coffee making facility is provided within the community area for use at any time of the day.
Electricity is included and a telephone is connected for the 24 hour Personal Emergency Response System. Telephone calls will be charged to your account and payable on departure or fortnightly depending on your length of stay.
Rooms are cleaned weekly together with a bed linen change and supply of towel.
Laundry facilities are available for your personal use or laundry and ironing can be arranged for you at additional cost.
The village bus provides return travel to the local shopping centre and hospitals when required and twice weekly to Mt Gravatt Westfield shopping centre.
Breakfast can be enjoyed either in your room or self serve in the Palm Room (community facility dining room). Lunch and the evening meal are served in the Palm Room, where friends and family are welcome to join you for meals for a small charge.
The village "Take5 Club" cafe is available daily serving morning and afternoon teas/coffee, sandwiches, cakes and slices where you and your family can sit and chat over a cuppa.
Personal Care Assistance
The village can arrange for personal care assistance as an additional cost, which may include such things as:
- Showering and dressing
- Meals (cutting up etc.)
- Additional cleaning
- Medication assistance
Personal Emergency Response System
Our Personal Emergency Response System is included and provides prompt contact with a Registered Nurse 24 hours a day, 7 days every week - all at the press of a button.
All prescribed medication for respite period is to be provided in a Webster pack and assistance can be arranged if required.
Local pharmacy provides a service to the Village with collection of scripts and delivery of prescriptions.
There is a planned recreation and social programme for all residents including respite residents.
Activities include indoor bowls, billiards, Nintendo Wii activities, cards, social BBQ's, concerts and many more.
During your stay, diverted mail will be delivered to the office then sorted into your particular post box for collection.
Your outgoing mail can be left in the Post box located within the foyer of the village.
Our office hours are between 8:30am and 5pm Monday to Friday, with Care Facilitators and environmental staff rostered over the weekend to deliver ongoing services to guests.

Call our Brookland Village Manager on 3345 9143 to arrange a mutually convenient time to visit Brookland or 1300 55 65 75 to enquire about Live Life Lodge accommodation at Maleny Grove and Samford Grove. Inspections are most welcome.
Your application will be acknowledged and you will be invited for an interview and to view the accommodation.
This interview is necessary for confirmation of your booking.
At a time closer to your planned respite we request that you pay a deposit and sign an Accommodation Agreement.
